According to StatCounter, sometime this week the blog hit counter will roll over 100,000 page views.
Six years ago when I started this blog, I never imagined that it would develop any kind of notice to reach that kind of number.
So…I wish to thank in advance all 74 public followers, numerous “tweeters” (even though I don’t understand how that works) and the few anonymous friends I know who wish to remain that way…That’s you Gary, Pat and Val!
On to the next 100K!!

The Grades Are In…
…my blog got C+ (78%) according to Blogged.com. (see the column to the left just after the Carnival of Education)
The testing was rigged! It’s not my fault! My ISP is too slow! My dog ate my keyboard! I demand a recount! I think I saw some “hanging chads”! Two more points…PLEASE!!! I’ll give you candy!!!
If I knew there was gonna be a final exam, I might have studied harder! TWO more points and I coulda gotta a “B”
(I hope this isn’t gonna affect my permanent record. That would be embarrassing.)

New Look...
I'm on jury duty this week.
Since I can't check the jury line from the classroom, I can't take any class assignments.
Until they dismiss my juror group or I get selected and dismissed from a case, I'm stuck not working this week.
Since Blogger seems to have finally finished fiddling with the blog template editor, I thought bring the blog up to date under a more standard format.
(...I hope I don't break anything)

Well it looks like I didn't mess it up. I even got the StatCounter back in place.
One neat thing I like about the StatCounter is the "Visitor Map" feature.
It shows a graphical map of where visitors to your blog are generally located. From there you can switch to Googles satellite maps to zoom to the street level ISP point of contact.
Just click the link "View My Stats" under the counter at left, then select the "Recent Visitor Map" from the left hand menu.
I'll leave my counters enabled for public access for a while so you can take a look.
