According to StatCounter, sometime this week the blog hit counter will roll over 100,000 page views.
Six years ago when I started this blog, I never imagined that it would develop any kind of notice to reach that kind of number.
So…I wish to thank in advance all 74 public followers, numerous “tweeters” (even though I don’t understand how that works) and the few anonymous friends I know who wish to remain that way…That’s you Gary, Pat and Val!
On to the next 100K!!

Even though we live half a country apart, your subbing experiences are similar to mine. I'm a grandmother starting my 5th yr. of subbing in small schools deep in the heart of corn and cattle country. Keep it up! Your entries are the greatest!
Congratulations! I will be student teaching starting this August and am assuming I will not be getting a full time teaching position in the middle of the school year. My plan is to sub for the last semester in the hopes to get a job next fall. I can't wait to hear about your experiences this year so I know what I am getting myself into!
I look at blogging kind of like hitting homeruns. I've blogged on 2 blogsites, tblog and blogger and know I have over 700 posts. I do feel like an aging slugger because my number of posts(homers) has decreased dramatically lately. Maybe I could pull a "Favre" and retire, unretire, retire and so on.
nice blog
