Teacher's prank goes too far...

From the Tennessean.com story:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MURFREESBORO — Parents of students at a Scales Elementary school in Murfreesboro Tennessee are outraged that teachers and an assistant principal staged a phony gun attack on their children, telling them repeatedly it was not a drill, while the children cried and took shelter under tables.

Click the link above for the whole story but this school should be awarded an honorable mention Group Darwin Award of Education.

This might be one of the stupidest things I heard allegedly educated people do in a long time. A prank is throwing water baloons. A prank is not telling kids you are going to shoot them and having them beg for their lives. Is there an al Qaeda training at some university we don't know about. Mock executions is a tactic used by terrorists to break down captives in order to get information from them. Wow, what the hell!
